Ahead of festival like EID and Durga Puja , the Mamata Banerjee led TMC government has decided to give an amou7nt of Rs.4000 as ad-hoc festival bonus to its employees with monthly income of Rs.30000 as on 31st March 2019.

Traditional Midwife and Padma Shri award winner Sulagitti Narasamma passes away at BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bengaluru . She was 98. Sulagitti Narasamma ,the well-known midwife, who had helped deliver over 15,000 Babies free of charge in rural Karnataka ,breathed her last in Bengaluru on Tuesday . Sulagitti Narasamma had been conferred with Padma Shri by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on 20th March 2018.
