PALAKKAD: A pregnant lady in Kerala needed to hold up under a 7 km trial on an alternative stretcher produced using bedsheet before she could make it to the doctor’s facility to convey her infant.

Without a rescue vehicle, the 27-year-old lady from Pallakad’s Attapadi town must be carried on a stretcher made of a bedsheet and fixing to logs, doctor’s facility sources said.

The episode has started a verbal confrontation after film of her voyage, broadcast by TV stations, turned into a web sensation via web-based networking media.

In the video film, six relatives of the lady can be seen going with her as she is carried on shoulders with the assistance of wooden logs.

The lady was taken to the administration innate healing facility at Kottathara on Tuesday where she conveyed a child young lady. Both mother and little girl are fine, the sources said.

CPI(M) : A specialist of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) was purportedly killed on late Monday night in Palloor region in Kerala’s Kannur area.

CPI(M) has given a shutdown call to protest the alleged murder.

The CPI(M) has denounced the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for the charged murder.

Not long after the CPI(M) specialist’s murder, a RSS laborer was assaulted and later capitulated to her wounds, authorities said.

In a press articulation, the Kannur unit of CPI(M) stated, “The merciless murder of K Babu, a previous councilor and a dynamic individual from the gathering, by the RSS activists demonstrates that they [RSS] are in no disposition to end the governmental issues of viciousness that they have been doing.”

The announcement included that Babu was likewise assaulted a year ago. The gathering has required a shutdown in Kannur and Mahe to challenge Babu’s murder.

The RSS laborer who was assaulted in countering has been recognized as Shanoj. She was purportedly assaulted close New Mahe and taken to a healing facility, where she later surrendered.
