Bhopal: A fire broke out at a material factory keep running by the National Textile Corporation (NTC) here right off the bat Sunday, yet no damage or setback was accounted for, an authority said. Around 2.30 am, the fire detachment got a call about the burst at the material unit situated in Chandbarh territory, Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) fire officer Sajid Khan told PTI.

At first, two fire tenders were sent to the material plant. Be that as it may, as the burst bit by bit spread in the premises, more fire tenders from the city and close-by towns of Mandideep and Sehore were raced to the site, he said.

“Fire tenders of the armed force and the police were likewise squeezed into benefit. It took around seven hours for around 40 fire tenders to control the flares, however by then the whole unit was gutted,” Khan said.

The BMC fire officer said there were deficient plans for flame control in the factory grounds.

NTC’s general supervisor Ajay Kumar Dixit said the fire softened out up one of two units and the staff were working there.

“The gutted premises is one of two units of the material factory. The second unit and godown in the grounds are protected. Loss of property in the blast is being assessed,” he said. The main usable yarn was in the unit which was gutted, Dixit stated, including the correct reason for the fire would be known after a request.
