Mumbai Bridge Collapsed
Bureau Report, Mumbai (Maharashtra) : Horrible accident. A Foot over bridge connecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station -platform no-1 north end with BT Lane collapsed on Thursday evening . Already five innocents were dead and more than 35 pedestrian were serious injured due to Mumbai Bridge Collapse. The Mumbai Police, BMC staffs and other dignitaries are at the spot and are assessing the situation. Maharashtra Government declared 5 lakh compensation for dead and Rs. 50000 for injured persons . Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tells media that “The incident is unfortunate . I have ordered for a high level inquiry . ” prime Minister Narendra Modi twitted “Deeply anguished” . Deeply anguished by the loss of lives due to the foot overbridge accident in Mumbai. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. Wishing that the injured recover at the earliest. The Maharashtra Government is providing all possible assistance to those affected.
