West Bengal Government Increases Festival Ad-hoc Bonus to Rs.4000

WB Ad-hoc Bonus increases by Rs.400

Digital desk , 28/05/2019 (Kolkata): West Bengal government has decided to increase ad-hoc bonus by Rs.400 for its employees and pensioners . Ahead of festival like EID and Durga Puja , the Mamata Banerjee led TMC government has decided to give an amou7nt of Rs.4000 as ad-hoc festival bonus to its employees with monthly income of Rs.30000 as on 31st March 2019.

Today West Bengal finance department issued a notification/ memorandum (No-2999-F/P2) with subject “Grant of ad-hoc Bonus to the State Government employee and some other categories of employees for the year 2018-2019” . New WB ad-hoc bonus is Rs.4000 . Last year ad-hoc bonus was Rs.3600.

The disbursement of WB ad-hoc bonus sanctioned should be made in case of Muslim State Government employees before the festival of Id-Ul-Fitre and in case of other state government employees (other than Muslims) such disbursement should be made between 23rd September 2019 and 1st October 2019.
