NEW DELHI: Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh today left for Iraq to bring back the assemblages of the 39 Indians, killed in the war-torn nation, authorities said.

The pastor is relied upon to bring back the bodies by today.

“The pastor left around 1 PM from the Hindon airbase and is relied upon to come back with the bodies tomorrow (Monday),” an authority said on Sunday.

In the wake of returning, Mr Singh will initially go to Amritsar took after by Patna and Kolkata to hand over bodies to their relatives, official sources said.
