Digital News : Russia has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on Monday from participating in Internationals Sports for four years over state sponsored doping violations. However, the athletics , not part of the cheating scheme will be allowed to participate under a neutral flag.
Sporting Ban on Russia means , The Russian flag and national anthem will not be allowed at international sporting events such as upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympics and para Olympics and Soccer World Cup 2022 (WC Qatar 2022).
World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) executive committee made the Russia’s Sporting Ban unanimous decision in a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. It’s comes after Russia’s Anti Doping Agency (RADA) was declared non-complaint for manipulating laboratory data handed over to investigators in January 2019.
Wada says, Russia has 21 days to appeal against the ban. If it does so, the appeal will be referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) .
