Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Masterji’ Saroj Khan dies at 72
Veteran Choreographer Saroj Khan Passed Away
Mumbai : Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan died in Mumbai on Friday of Cardiac arrest. Condolence poured in through social media. Film icons like Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Neha Dhupia, John Abraham and others were the first to mourn the late choreographer’s demise.
Bollywood has lost one of it’s most beloved and respected dance exponents. It would not be wrong to say that the magic of Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi would be incomplete without the ‘Masterji’ Saroj Khan.
The veteran choreographer known for her famous dance routine in memorable films like ‘Beta’ (Dhak Dhak Karne Laga) and Tezaab (‘Ek Do Teen’) . She was reportedly admitted to the Mumbai hospital on June 20 after the complained of breathing difficulties.

However, Saroj Khan born in Mumbai in 1948, after her parents migrated from Pakistan after partition. Saroj’s first break as an independent Choreographer came only in 1974 with “Geeta Mera Naam” .
