Mumbai : On the 75th birth anniversary of former Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh , the Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh shared a emotional tik tok video on Instagram with caption ‘ Happy Birthday Pappa… miss you everyday’
In the viral video, the actor is seen looking at his father’s clothes on a hanger. He puts his hand through a sleeve of the Kurta and embraces himself . The emotional song ‘Abhi Mujh nein Kahin’ from 2012 film Agneepath plays in the background.
Towards the end of the video , a throwback photo of Vilasrao Deshmukh also appears on the screen.
Riteish Deshmukh’s friends were moved by the video. Abhishek Bachchan reacted with a hand joined in prayer. Deepshikha and Dhiraj Deshmukh commented ‘miss you Pappa’
Riteish wife , actress Genelia D’Souza also remembered her father-in-law in a touching post in social media.
She wrote “Riaan’s teacher asked him ‘what are you most proud of’ … His answer was ‘ My Ajoba’ … you are our pride Pappa.. we feel your presence everyday and know that you are looking after us wherever you are … you live in us and we celebrate you every single day.
