Kannada Actress Jayanthi Abhinaya Sharade dies at 76

Legendary Kannada actress Jayanthi, well known as Abhinaya Sharade, breathed her last during her sleep on Monday. She was aged 76. The Goddess of acting Jayanthi has acted over hundreds of films that span across five languages and has resigned on top, especially in the Kannada film industry, where she was known by the moniker Abhinaya Sharade.

BJP leader’s son shot by militant in Kupwara

Jammu : Ishfaq Ahmad, son of BJP Kupwara district president Mohammad Shafi, on Friday, shot at Gulgam by an unidentified gunmen, police confirmed. Injured person has been admitted to the Kupwara district hospital where his condition stated to be stable.
