Bhadohi (UP): The relative of an Uttar Pradesh MLA has been arrested for allegedly raping a Varanasi-based singer, police said. Vikas Mishra, who was arrested on Monday, is the grandson of legislator Vijay Mishra who represents the Bhadohi assembly seat. Bhadohi Superintendent of Police, Ram Badan Singh, said that the singer, on October 18, had accused the MLA, his son Vishnu Mishra and grandson Vikas Mishra of raping her.
In news that may well make you gag, an Uttar Pradesh based factory has been using donkey dung, acid and hay along with counterfeit spices to create products for local brands. The police in UP’s Hathras raided the factory on Monday night, arresting factory owner Anoop Varshney and sending several samples of the adulterated products for testing.
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government, on Thursday, has decided to conduct only final year , last semester examination in State Universities and colleges through offline, online or mixed mode by following standard protocols.
