Marvelous First Day for India Men’s Doubles Badminton Group Stage in Tokyo Olympics 2020. India’s contender Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/ Chirag Shetty beat the World No-3 Chinese Taipei’s Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin by 2-1 (21-16, 16-21, 27-25) in the Group-A game at Forest Plaza Court-3.

Tokyo Olympics 2020: S. Mirabai Chanu gave India first Medal in Tokyo Olympics, bagging silver in the women’s 49 KG category in Weightlifting. The Manipur weightlifter lifted a total 202 KG (87 KG in snatch and 115 KG in clean and Jerk) during her four successful attempts across the competition.
