Dogecoin pumps by nearly 70% on Elon Musk tweets

Dogecoin – to the moon ?

Dogecoin, which even in the realms of cryptocurrency is well known for its volatility, surged nearly 70 percent after series of tweets from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

In his tweets, Elon starting up with ‘Doge’ and the following it up with a picture of himself as Rafiki lifting Simba (with the dog symbol superimposed on it).

“No need to be a gigachad to own’ he said also “Dogecoin is the people’s crypto”

“No highs, no lows, only Doge” – Elon tweeted.

However, Dogecoin surged over 670% this year, according to Binance data. It’s expected that it will cross $1 milestone near-times .
