WBBSE : The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on Wednesday reported the consequences of the current year’s Madhyamik of Class 10 brings about the state. The general pass level of the current year’s examination is 85.49 for every penny.

Almost 11 lakh understudies had showed up for the West Bengal Madhyamik examination that was led in March this year. A sum of 8,99,564 understudies have cleared the tests effectively this year.

As per the board, more female understudies had showed up in the exams than male.

FEMALE STUDENTS PERFORMED BETTER

While reporting the outcomes, WBBSE Chairman Kalyanmoy Ganguly stated, among understudies from the Muslim people group, female understudies had dwarfed male competitors.

“In excess of 1,74,000 female competitors had showed up for the exam from the minority network, significantly more than male understudies. The pattern unmistakably demonstrates that Muslim ladies are adjusting themselves to formal training,” he said.

ABOUT THE TOPPERS

Sanjeevani Debnath from Coochbehar locale’s Suniti Academy School has finished the current year’s legitimacy list with a total score of 689 out of 700.

Sirshendu Saha from Burdwan’s Satgachia High School has come next with 688.

East Midnapore locale has the most noteworthy level of understudies who have effectively cleared the exams. With 96.13 for every penny, East Midnapore area topped, trailed by West Midnapore at 91.75 for every penny.

Kolkata has come third with 91.11 for each penny of understudies making it past these exams.

DATE FOR EXAMS NEXT YEAR

The Board has reported that one year from now’s exams will be led between February 12 and 22, 2019. Ganguly said the current year’s outcomes were declared inside a record time of 77 days since the tests were directed in March.

West Bengal boss pastor Mamata Banerjee has complimented understudies for their achievement in these examinations.
