Naya Rivera’s dead body found in Lake Piru
The missing ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera’s dead body was found at Lake Piru in Los Pedres National Forest, north of Los Angeles. She was missing from last Wednesday while boating on Lake Piru with her 4-year-old son ‘Josey’. The Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said on Monday that Naya Rivera used the last of her strength to save her 4-year-old son before she died. It’s simply recall the last scene of famous ‘Titanic movie where ‘Jack’ used her last breath to save ‘Rose’.
Mr Ayub said “She mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the board, but not enough to save herself”
Ayub further said that while an autopsy and official identification are forthcoming, the circumstances from the location of the body to the fact that no one else has been reported missing in the California Lake makes the department “confident that the body we found is Naya Rivera”
The 33-year-old Naya Rivera, best known for her starring role on the Fox show ‘Glee’, was presumed dead after she went missing on last Wednesday. Rivera and son ‘Josey’ rented a pontoon boat at Lake Piru to spent their holiday.
The child told rescuers he and his mother had gone into the water to swim, but she did not get back on the boat. He told investigators he then looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water, Ventura Sheriff said.
‘Josey’ was found asleep on the rental boat after it was overdue for return. One life Jacket was found on the boat and the boy was wearing another.
The Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub confirmed that Naya Rivera’s dead body was found floating in the northeast area of the Lake Piru where the water is between 35 and 60 feet deep. Ayub said investigators are confident the body was Naya Rivera, but the body is still being taken to Ventura County Coroner’s office, where it will be identified through dental records.
Ayub said, the Sheriff department has been in ‘direct contract’ with Rivera’s family.
However, the tragic dead of Naya Rivera, recalling the last scene of famous Hollywood movie ‘Titanic’ where ‘Jack’ (real name Leonardo DiCaprio) user her last breath to save ‘Rose’ (real name Kate Winslet) .Same tragic scene here again. But, it is in real life.
Naya Rivera used her last breath, her last bit of energy, her last few moments alive to save son ‘Josey’. She saved his life and died just an amazing mother and the hero she was every single day to that little boy.
