Communal tension gripped Delhi’s Mangolpuri area
New Delhi: Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma who was collecting donations for Ram Mandir, stabbed to death on February 10 by a mob around 25-30 people at Mangolpuri area of Delhi. The 26-year-old Rinku was mob-lynched and brutally murdered in his house in front of his family members.
Police have arrested the four assailants who entered Rinku’s house late on Wednesday night and killed him in cold blood. The arrested assailants have been identified as Mohammad Islam, Danish Nasiruddin, Dilshan and Dilshad Islam, reported.
Rinku Sharma was a resident of Delhi’s Mangolpuri area. Besides rendering his voluntary service to the Hindu organization, Rinku Sharma worked as a laboratory technician in a hospital in Paschim Vihar. He was survived by his mothe Radha Devi, father Ajay Sharma and brother Ankit and Manu Sharma.
It is being reported that the incident was fallout of an argument between the Bajrang Dal activist and the assistants over the construction and the money the Hindu outfit was collecting for the constrictions for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Rinku’s father Ajay Sharma told Sudarshan TV that on Wednesday night, around 25-30 persons knocked on the door. After they were let in, they attacked his sons, He said, the attackers kicked them around, stabbed Rinku and vandalized the house.
