Chandigarh : Three new positive cases have been reported today in Chandigarh, taking the total positive cases in the Union Terrority to 199 including 3 deaths.

According to Chandigarh health deaprtment’s latest data as on May 19

• Total number of covid -19 patients of Chandigarh hospitalized (active cases) – 139
• Total number of sample tested – 3031
• Total number of samples found negative – 2784
• Total number of samples positive – 199
• Total number of samples rejected – 01
• Total number of covid-19 patients cured till date – 57
• Total number of covid-19 deaths till date – 03
• Total number of samples of Chandigarh whose result is awaited – 48

This is consecutive second days , Chandigarh has been registered fresh poisitive cases. Earlier, on Monday, 5 cases have been reported from novel coronavirus hotspot Bapu Dham Colony of sector 26.
