J&K Police Busted Pak sponsored Narco-Terror Module
Srinagar : A special team of Jammu & Kashmir Police along with security forces have recovered huge quantity of Indian currency and narcotics from a residential house in Handwara . SP Handwara Dr. GB Sundeep Chakravarthy, on Thursday, stated , “Handwara Police busted a huge Pakistan sponsored narco-terror module. Three Lashkar-e-Taiba associates were arrested. They were in touch with Pak handlers ”
He added ” 21 k heroin worth Rs.100 crore market value , Indian currency with the value of Rs.1.34 crores recovered”
Mr. Chakravarthy also stated “The three who were arrested were peddling drugs to financially help he Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir. It’s very big hawala racket where the money is transferred without money movement and financed for terrorist activities in the region”

The detained Lashkar-e-Taiba associates were identified as Iftikar Andrabi (main accused- notorious drug smuggler in the Handwara district) , Momin Khir (Son-in-law of Iftikar Andrabi) and Ikbaul Islam.
