Haryana Hikes DA
Digital desk: Election Result Bonanza announced in Haryana. The Haryana Government has enhanced Dearness Allowance (DA) for the State Government employees ,pensioners and family pensioners to 12 percent from 9% earlier, with effect from 1st January 2019. Haryana hikes DA.
The DA hike is estimated to cost an extra Rs.17.70 crore per month approximately. According to finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu that the burden during current financial year (2019-2020) on the exchequer from 14 months from January 2019 to February 2020 would be Rs.247.80 crore. He added that the state government has also enhanced DA by 6% for state government employees ,who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay scale or grade as per the 6th Pay Commission , from existing 148% to 154% of the basic pay with effect from 1st January 2019.
