Kashmir Is Not An Internal Matter : Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury
Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019
New Delhi : Congress MP from Berhampore (Murshidabad, West Bengal) Sri. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury claimed that Kashmir is not India’s integral matter since the UN has been monitoring the situation since 1948. On a debate on “Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019″ , Congress Parliamentary leader Sri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said ” You (Home Minister Amit Shah) say that it is an internal matter . But it is monitoring since 1948 by the UN, is that an internal matter ? We signed Shimla agreement & Lahore Declaration , what that an internal matter or bilateral ? ”
Hitting back at the opposition leader during the heated exchange, Home Minister Sr. Amit Shah said not only is Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India , but also includes Pakistan occupied Kashmir . He said that “Jammu & Kashmit is an integral part of part of Union of India. Kashmir ki Seema mein POK bhi aata hai…. Jaan de denge iske liye ! (POK comes under Kashmir , willing to die for it )” .
