Maharashtra Curfew : Uddhav Gov imposes Strict COVID guidelines
Maharashtra Lockdown : Restrictions to be in effect from April 14
Mumbai: Amid rising coronavirus cases , Uddhav Thackeray led Maharashtra Government has imposed lockdown like curbs in the state from 8 pm tomorrow . According to fresh Covid-19 guidelines, all establishments, public places, activities to remain closed during this lockdown period.
“Cinema halls, theatres, auditoriums, amusement parks, gyms, sports complex to be closed” Maharashtra COVID guidelines “Shooting for films, serials, ads to be closed. All shops, malls, shopping centres, not performing essential services to also remain closed”
“All places of worship, schools and colleges, private coaching classes, barbershops, spas, salons, and beauty parlors will remain closed”
In a video address, Chief Minsiter Uddhav Thackeray said “the state government will impose section 144 for starting 8 pm on April 14 till 7 am on May 1. “
“I’ll request PM Modi to direct Air Force to help the state meets its Oxygen requirements. There is a shortage of medical oxygen, beds and the demand for Remdesivir has also increased ” he added “The government is continuously upgrading the healthcare infrastructures”
CM said that the Maha Government will provide 3 KG wheat and 2 KG rice to every poor and needy persons while coronavirus restrictions in places.
All essential industries to function at full capacity. Road side vendors may open their shops 7 am to 8 pm, but no-one will be allowed to eat there. They will have to give as take away.
The CM said “We are not shutting down public transport, but they will used only for essential workers and in emergency and essential activities for general public”
