Government expects to clean 80 for every penny of River Ganga before Kumbh
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari guaranteed the general population on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, in Allahabad that River Ganga will be cleaned before the following Kumbh Mela begins on April 9, 2018.
A measure of Rs 20,000 crore is required to be spent on River Ganga, particularly for the up and coming ‘Kumbh Mela.’
HERE ARE THE PLANS THAT ARE AIMED TO BE EXECUTED:
- The Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, Nitin Gadkari, while tending to a social occasion, said that all the pending ‘Namami Gange’ tasks will be finished soon
- He added that the point is to clean 80 for each penny of River Ganga
- The sewage treatment is set up to keep water from heading off to the stream
- Five stream pots would be built
- Street and water upkeep alongside transport office will be given
