Goa amends SOPs for incoming travelers
Panaji : The Goa Government has made compulsory COVID-19 for all those standed people returning to the state . On Wdnesday Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said “We maintain the need for a COVID negetive certificate and a compulsory COVID test’
He added “The 14 day home quarantine option will be no longer available. Either you bring the negetive certificate or have to take the test”

CM said “we discussed the SOPs (standard operating protocols) and have decided to make some changes of them. Earlier, the returnees were given three options –
- Either produced a Covid-19 free certificate from a registered ICMR laboratory that’s issued 48 hours prior to arrival
- To undergo a swab sample test on arival
- Be quarantined at home under our watch.
The third option has been withdrawn with immediate effect ”
Sawant added ” Now, any person returning to Goa has to either produce the covid-19 free certificate or take the test”
