Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala Coronavirus updates as on Monday (June 8, 2020). 91 new positive cases reported in the state on Monday. The total number of active cases in Kerala is 1174. Today, Alappuzha district reported 5, Ernakulam 3, Kasaragod 8, Kannur 4, Kizhikode 13, Kollam 5, Kottayam 3, Malappuram 14, Pathanamthitta 3, Palakkad 1, Thiruvananthapuram 3, Thrissur 27 and Wayanad 2.

Kerala Coronavirus updates as on Monday

Out of new 91 persons , 73 people have come from abroad.

15 persons came from other Indian states ; i.e. Maharashtra 06, Tamil Nadu 06, Delhi 02 and Karnataka 01.

Only 1 person contracted the novel coronavirus through contact. Two healthcare workers in Thrissur district too have rested positive for Wuhan Virus.

Total 11 person recovered from the fatal disease today. i.e, Kasaragod 5, Kannur 2, Palakkad 2 and Wayanad 2. As per today, total 18 deaths registered in the state. One fresh COVID death from Thrissur distritc has been reported on Monday. A Maldives returnee person who had diabetes and kidney related ailments and was on ventilator for the last 6 days , was died today. With this new number , the total Coronavirus death in Kerala has risen to 18. However, as of now total 814 people recovered from the Chinese disease . Total active cases in the state is 1174.
