Maharashtra Has Done 66,896 Covid-19 Tests Until Now : Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai : Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the state and said that there are 3,651 coronavirus cases in Maharashtra. He added that non COVID-19 patients will be neglected during the pandemic. He said that they were planning to restart the industrial and commercial activities in the state from April 20.

In a video address on Sunday , Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray informed that the state has conducted a total of 66.896 tests for covid-19 . There are 3600 positive coronavirus case in Maharashtra 300-350 of these have recovered and returned home. He added , 75 percent are either mildly symptomatic or asymptotic and 52 patients are bit serious and the treatment is on to save them.

While addressing the citizens , Uddhav Thackeray said that there was a shortage of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits and the Maharashtra government was trying to get the same.

The CM also said that the financial activities of some front will be initiated in districts where zero COVID -19 cases have been reported . according to him, industries cam begin to operate in the green zones.

Farming activities will continue and was not halted earlier . also while the districts border will continue to be sealed. However essential supplies will be allowed but not the labour movements across districts .

CM clarified , only the doorstep delivery of the news paper is prohibited in red zones including Mumbai & Pune while the stalls can operate .

Uddhav Thackeray also appealed the people to come out if they feel unweel. while asking them not to hide their symptoms.

Doctors have informed us that many people are coming to us only when their cases become serious. In some cases, people have died even before their covid test reports were received. Please don’t hide your symptoms . If you feel unwell, let us know.
