Heart-wrenching Brutality in Pudukottai district

Aranthangi, Pudukkottai : Again a rape and murder case in Tamil Nadu. On July 1, a blood covered body of seven years old child was found in dry pool in Embal village of Aranthangi town in Pudukkottai district. Doctors of the district hospital have confirmed the sexual assault on the child. The brutal incident has caused tension in the Embal village and surroundings .

Embal police already arrested a 27 year-old person who is neighbor of the victim.

Actually, the seven year-old daughter of Nagooran and Selvi went missing from 4 PM on June 30. After,searching until late in the evening, the family registered a missing case in the Embal Police station. But, unfortunately, on Wednesday, the missing girl found dead in fry pool near Nagooran’s house.

They took the body to the Pudukkottai district hospital, and the doctors confirmed the sexual assault before killing. After the investigation , police arrested a person who is the neighbour of the Nagooran. He is arrested on suspicion as he did not correctly answer in the of police questions. Further investigation is under way.
