Chennai : Tamil Nadu Coronavirus updates as on Monday (June 8, 2020). Today. 1562 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in the state . Total number of cases is now at 33,229 including 15, 413 active cases and 286 deaths. Already, 17,527 people recovered from the disease. On Monday, Chennai reported 1149 new positive cases. While Chengalpattu 134, Thiruvallur 57, Vellore 33 and Thoothukodi districts registered fresh 26 positive cases for novel coronavirus.
