Four captured for attacking Dalit man : Four people have been captured for professedly striking a Dalit, hauling out his mustache and compelling pee down his throat after he declined to reap their products, police said on Tuesday.

Following the occurrence, SHO, Hazratpur, Rajesh Kashyap has been suspended, SSP Ashok Kumar said.

As per the complainant, Sitaram Valmiki (43), the episode occurred on 24 April when he was working in his field in Azampur Bisaulia town.

Vijay Singh, Pinku Singh, Vikram Singh and Sompal pseudonym Kallu requesting that he gather their yields and when he declined they beat him up, hauled out his mustache and constrained him to drink pee from a shoe, as indicated by the dissension.

They likewise attached him to a tree, he stated, including that Saturday he educated the police.

The SSP said that police achieved the spot and made prompt move yet later he began leveling claims against the four denounced, who were captured the previous evening.

“The issue is being tested as the announcements of the casualty and his relatives are opposing. Two separate calls were made to Dial 100 and we are investigating it,” the SSP said. The FIR of the occurrence was enlisted on 29 April.
