Shramik Special Train Updates

Mumbai : On Saturday evening, a 24 coach Shramik Special train with 1200 migrant workers on board departed from Mumbai Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) for Gonda (Uttar Pradesh) . Central Railway officials said “we ensured that all necessary precautions were taken, social distancing norms were followed and the entire station premises was sanitized after the train departed ”

However, on Friday morning , a Shramik Special train from Amritsar carrying over 1250 migrants reached to Gonda railway station. A medical team under heavy security arrangements thermal screened all passengers . During this time , 6 passengers was found to be above normal temperature during the screening . All 6 passengers are taken to district hospital for further medical examination.

Mumbai CSTM to Gonda Shramik Special train will reach the destination station on Sunday.
