Birbhum Police donated Rs.21 lakh to the WB State Emergency Relief Fund
Police Personnel donated their 2 days Salary
Suri, Birbhum : Beside round the clock vigilant across the district, the Birbhum Districts Police also made a donation of Rs.21 lakh (Twenty One lakh) to West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund. All the Police personnel including Civic Volunteers have donated their two days salary to this fund. A check for Rs. 21 lakh was deposited in the State Bank of India on May 6 and it was reported to the journalists on today.
Birbhum District Police is always active to enforce the law and always successfully achieve greater efficiency in its primary objective to prevention of crime and detention of crimes . The primary aim and objective of the Birbhum Police is keep the district peaceful and to protect people.

Birbhum Police donated Rs.21 lakh to state emergency relief fund. The fund is used by the West Bengal State Government for prevention and control of situation arising out of unforeseen emergencies like COVID-19 .
