Forefront COVID warrior Abhigyan Mukherjee dies of Covid-19
Kolkata : Extremely sad news. Kolkata Police Inspector Abhigyan Mukherjee, who was attached to the KP Traffic department and posted at Lalbazar Police head office, died of novel coronavirus at a private hospital in Kolkata.
Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, IPS Anuj Sharma tweeted “Extremely saddened to hear about the untimely demise of our colleague Inspector Abhignan Mukherjee of KP Traffic Department. My heart goes out to the family of this well known, vibrant & hardworking officer”
Kolkata Police tweeted “We deeply mourn the untimely demise of Inspector Abhigyan Mukherjee, who was posted in KP Traffic Department. He was affected with Covid19 and was at the forefront of our #FightAgainstCorona “
The Kolkata Police Inspector (Traffic Department) Abhigyan Mukherjee had been ill for past few days, after that he was tested positive for coronavirus. He was quarantined at home after being infected. But, on Thursday, he started to have severe shortness of breath.
After this serious breathing problem, the forefront corona warrior was first taken to a private hospital. But, later his condition deteriorated and he was transferred to another private hospital at Anandapur. He died there on Friday morning.
