Six more tested Corona Positive in Malda ; total cases climb to 19
Malda District Corona Update today
Malda , Online Desk : Six more persons tested positive for novel coronavirus on May 12. The new cases have taken the number of cases in Malda to 19. Most infected persons are migrant workers who reached Malda from Ajmer by the first Shramik Special Train.
According to the source report, out of total 19, one person has been discharged from Siliguri COVID hospital and one other still admitted in the same hospital. But remaining 17 positive patients including the 6 , who are reported positive today, have been admitted to Malda Covid hospital .
However, the district administration is preparing to received more migrants from Telangana. According to the source, the new batch of migrant workers may be kept at block quarantine centers instead of their homes unlikely in the previous cases .
