‘Amra Bharat Matar Santan’ Mamata Banerjee composes song on India’s unity
‘We are the children of Bharat Mata’ : Mamata Didi
Kolkata : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (Didi) has penned a song ‘Amra Bharat Matar Santan (We’re the children of Motherland India)” to focus on India’s unity and fraternity. The brief 3.51 minutes song has been set to tune by Mamata Banerjee herself, Debojyoti Bose (Tony) composed the music and the regional artists of various districts gave voice to it.
The song highlighted the importance of unity and fraternity of India in current political-social scenario. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has posted the 3.51 minutes song on her official Facebook account .
She wrote as caption “Our country is the seat of humanity, the birthplace of unity, the workplace of harmony. The tradition of this country is a combination of all religions. My song ‘Aamra Bharat Matar Santan (We are the children of Bharatmata’, there is no division between us”
In her song, Mamata Banerjee appealed to the people that everybody (whatever their religions, caste or creed) should come together and united as we are all the children of India (Bharat Matar Santan) .
