West Bengal leader of Opposition and BJP MLA Shri Suvendu Adhikari met Union Railway and Rural Development Ministers on Friday (Twitter)

WB Opposition leader also meets Union Rural development and Panchayati Raj Minister

New Delhi: BJP MLA and Leader of opposition in West Bengal assembly Suvendu Adhikari on Friday met Union Railways, communications, Electronics and IT Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss to reopen stalled Nandigram Railway project.

“Met with honorable Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji and requested him to restart the stalled Nandigram Railway project at the earliest” Suvendu Adhikari tweeted “He has assured me of prompt action regarding this”

Mr. Adhikari, MLA from Nandigram, also met with Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri. Giriraj Singh.

“Glad to met with Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Shri Giriraj Singh Ji. Appraised him about the rampant malpractice, prevalent in WB in the execution of MGNARGA” Suvendu added “told him how karyakartas of WB are being deprived of the benefits of PM Awas Yojna, some even midway.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Adhikari has defeated TMC Supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a closely fought battle in Nandigram during the West Bengal assembly election 2021.
