Soumita Khan Joins BJP 

A major political set back for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee led All India Trinamool Congress (TMC Bengal). WB TMC leader and MP of Bishnupur Loksabha Constituency Soumita Khan joined BJPin Presence of Bengal BJP leader Mukul Roy on 9th January 2019 just months ahead of General Election 2019. At the press conference in Delhi, BJP leader Mukul Roy said that at least 5 more TMC MP’s were in touch with him and were keen on joining the BJP ahead of the Loksabha Election 2019. 

Today in joining platform, TMC MP Soumitra Khan told the “TMC party is now run by Mamata Di’s Nephew” Soumitra Khan alleged that Abhishek Banerjee had threatened to get him arrested and said “there is a threat to my life because i raised my voice against the Party’s misconduct ”

In Press Conference BJP Bengal senior leader Mukul Roy said “Soumitra Khan is joining the BJP because the TMC has no longer remained a political part . It is now a private company run by “Pishi” (refering to Mamata Banerjee) and ‘Bhaipo’ (refering to Abhishek Banerjee) ”
