Loksabha Election 2019 Notification

New Delhi : Election Commission of India (ECI) issued Parliament Election 2019 official notification on 10th March ,2019 (Sunday). Model code of conduct comes into effect on & from today. According to Chief Election Commissioner of India Mr. Sunil Arora, the Loksabha Election 2019 will be held in Seven (07) phases from 11th April to 19th May and the LS Election 2019 result will declare on 23rd May 2019.

• States which will have polling in one phase : Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab , Sikkim, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshwwadeweep, Delhi, Pondicherry, Chandigarh
• States which have Polling in 2 phases : Karnataka, Manipur, Rajasthan , Tripura
• 3 Phases : Assam & Chhattisgarh
• Polling in 4 phases : Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha & Maharashtra
• Polling in 5 Phases : Jammu & Kashmir
• Polling in 7 Phases : Uttra Pradesh, Bihar & Wesr Bengal

Key Factors in Loksabha Election 2019

• Model Code of Conducts (MCC) has come into effect from today 10th March 2019
• CEC Sunil Arora said, the total electorate will be in the vicinity of 900 millions or 90 crore of which 15 million or 1.5 crores are in the age group of 18-19 Years
• Approximately 10 lakhs polling stations in 2019 Loksabha Election
• Photo Vote Slip shall be used for guidance but not as proof of identity at polling stations
• 14.4 lakh VVPAT will be used with EVM at all polling stations
• Uses of Loud Speaker is prohibited between 10P.M to 6 A.M in order to curb noise pollution
