World Toilet Day Contest 2018 Result

West Bengal’s Bankura and Murshidabad are among the top-10 districts adjudged winners & Coochbehar among the Top-42 districts winner in World Toilet Day Contest 2018 organized by Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation (MDWS) ,Government of India. MDWS organized a World Toilet Day contest from of 9th November to 19th November 2018 across the country . 

A chance to re-strengthen the Swachh Bharat jan andolan at the grassroots, this competition was driven by District Collectors Magistrates and CEO (Zilla Parishads). 412 districts from 25 States and Union territories took part in the World Toilet Day Contest .

Bankura district of West Bengal State got top number 1 position and Murshidabad district of West Bengal got number 9 position among top 12 list. Also Cooch-Behar of WB got 15 position in final result . On Top 3 districts list Ganderbal of Jammu & Kashmir state got 2nd position and Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh got 3rd position.
