Massive bad news for West Indies Cricket Team. KKR super star and Caribbean all-rounder Andre Russell has been ruled out of the rest of Cricket World Cup 2019 due to knee injury. Top order batsman Sunil Ambris, who performed super innings in Tri-nation One-day series in Ireland, will join the Caribbean team as Russell’s replacement.
Andre Russell , who struggled with the injury throughout the CWC 2019, managed to play only four games. Sunil Amrish who made his ODI debut against England in September 2017. Ambris played only 6 One day International. Last month, he scored 148 , which is best in his career, in Ireland Tri-nation series. Ambris may cover the place of Evin Lewis , who had his hamstring in the field in the first over of the match against New Zealand .
