India bans 59 Chinese apps including Tik Tok for security reasons, check list
These apps will remove from Playstore, Appstore
New Delhi : The Indian government , on Monday, banned 59 Chinese mobile application including Tik Tok, UC Browser, Xender, Share It , Likee, Helo and others. The Ministry of Information Technology took this decision under section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
Government bans 59 Chinese apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India , security of state and public order.

Among the apps that have banned are Tik Tok, Shareit, Mi Community, UC Browser, Likee, Helo, Xender, Virus cleaner, Photo Wonder, Cam Scanner Bigo live, Mail master, Club factory and others. Gaming App PUBG not in the list.
Google Playstore, Apple Appstore still not remove these apps from download section. It’ll take few times to get the official order from Government.
As per the report, the government has taken this decision in the view of the information available these apps are engaged in activities , which is prejudicial to Sovereignty and integrity of India.
