Myanmar : 50 dead in large scale landslide in Pakgan Jade mining area
Myanmar : around 200 people were buried
At least 50 people killed in a monsoon-triggered Jade Mine landslide in Hpakant on Thursday morning around 6:30 a.m local time, the country’s fire service department and an information ministry official said “The Jade miners were smothered by a wave of mud, which hit after heavy rainfall. Search and rescue is ongoing”
Local villagers claimed about 200 plus workers were buried.
