Swimmers have been asked to leave the water

Swimmers have been asked to leave the water after a shark was spotted on Aspendale beach in Melobourne’s south. The 1.5m long shark was spotted by the Westpac rescue helicopter just before 3 P.M this afternoon.

The RWC lifeguards are on the scene.

Westpac tweeted “”lifesaver31 has spotted a 1.5m shark at Aspendale beach. Swimmers advised to exit the water.”
