FEDEX TRUCK STOLEN – Delivery Vehicle Crashed in Castle Pines

FedEx truck thief arrested after crashing the delivery vehicle in Castle Pines. After a pursuit, the driver fled on foot but was apprehended by Douglas County deputies, on Friday afternoon.

Delegates sought after a stolen FedEx truck in Castle Pines on Friday evening, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.

The truck was stolen in the 2900 piece of South Galapago Street in Englewood.

Englewood police said the FedEx conveyance driver left The Shootist at 2980 South Galapago Street at 10:55 a.m. what’s more, “He saw a male sitting in the driver’s seat of the Fed Ex vehicle, which had the keys inside. Authorities arrested a suspect Friday who allegedly stole a FedEx delivery truck, led Douglas County sheriff’s deputies on a chase and then crashed the truck in Castle Pines.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, then fled on foot. Deputies caught the suspect and arrested him.

At one point during the chase, the sheriff’s department sent out a tweet asking drivers to give deputies room to maneuver by pulling to the side of the road.

The FedEx truck was stolen from outside The Shootist Pistol Range at 2980 S. Galapago St. in Englewood a little before 11 a.m., as per the Englewood Police Department.
