Alaska Earthquake: A Tsunami Sirens warning issued after 7.8 tremor
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has been struck off of Chignik, near Kodiak, Alaska. Sirens wails as Tsunami warning is issued part of Alaska after a 7.8 magnitude massive earthquake.
According to USGS , the quake hit a about 11:12 p.m PST . It had a depth of six miles and was centered 60 miles South-Southeast Perryville, Asalska .
The quake prompted to Tsunami warning to be issued for Alaska. The massive Alaska earthquake tremor felt as far away as Anchorage, which is about 500 miles away from the epicenter.

However, initially no casualties or dead reported. But, it genuinely as massive earthquake and expected large damage in the region.

Alaska earthquake: Tsunami waves forecast
Tsunami waves are forecast to be less than 0.3 meters above the tide level for the coast of Chuuk, Guam, Hawaii, Howland and Baker, Japan, Johnson Atoll, Kiribali, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Midway Island, Northern Marianas, North-western Hawaii Islands, Palau, Palmyra Island, Pohnpei, Russia, Wake Island, and Yap.
