Vande Bharat Mission Phase 3: Air India will operate 10 additional flights, booking opens from June 13

The flights will run between India-USA

New Delhi : In the third phase of Government back Vande Bharat Mission, Air India will run 10 additional flights between India and USA and will be operated between June 20th to July 3. Out of these 10 additional Air Flights , 4 each will run from / to New York and Washington , and one each from/to San Francisco & Chicago. Online Booking for these additional flights will open only on Air India official website on June 13 from 6 P.M IST.

Meanwhile, as part of the third phase of the Vande Bharat Mission , the aviation ministry earlier has announced that Air India and it’s subsidiary Air India express will have 80 flights travelling to Europe and 80 flights will travel to USA and Canada as well with 165 flights travelling to the middle east countries . The third phase of Vande Bharat mission opened on June 10.

However, there was an overwhelming demand from travelers when Air India had opened up the Online Flights ticket booking portal. A large number of tickets fro travel from several cities in United States were unavailable for booking on Wednesday and several people complained on social media.

Currently, only Air India and subsidiary Air India Express has repatriated thousands of Indian nationals from world over following the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown.
