Greg Holland has signed one year deal with Kanasa City Royals

The Kansas City Royals has announced on Monday that they have re-signed pitcher Greg Holland.

According to Jeff Passan , Greg Holland has signed a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Kansas City Royals”

“He’ll return to a bullpen that with Josh Staunont and Scott Barlow has a chance to be really good” Passan tweeted.

Holland, 35, went 3-0 with six saves and a 1.91 ERA (6 ER in 28.1 IP) in 28 appearances with the Kansas City Royals in 2020. The right hander pitcher ranked fifth among Major League Relivers (min. 25.0 IP) in ERA, eight in WHIP (0.95) and eight in opponents’ average (.200) Of his 28 appearances, 23 were scoreless, which tied for third most in the Majors behind teammate Scott Barlow and the Angels’ Mike Mayers.

The Royals now have 38 players on their major league reverse list.
