Lady Gaga delivered rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” through an iconic golden microphone

Today, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were historically sworn in as the 46th President and Vice-President of United States of America.
Lady Gaga took the stage Wednesday during the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris with the Oscar winning “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Capitol as the nation watched.
The Pop-singer delivered the ‘National Anthem’ through an iconic golden microphone.
“Singing our National Anthem for the American People is my honor. I will sing during a ceremony, a transition, a moment of change- between POTUS 45 and 46. For me, this has great meaning” Lady Gaga tweeted shortly before the performance.

She added “My intention is to acknowledge our past, be healing for our present, and passionate for a future where we work together lovingly. I will sing to the hearts of all people who live on this land. Respectfully and kindly, Lady Gaga.”
