Upper West Side Amid a Water Main Break

New York City, Online Desk : A water main breaks is flooding part of the Upper West Side. The main ruptured around 5:30 A.M near Lincoln Center at 63rd street and Broadway.  Due to the water flooding conditions , part of upper west side streets are closed in both directions between 60th and 65th street and Columbus is shut down south of 65th Street.

Also, 1,2 & 3 train services is suspended in Manhattan between 42nd Street and 96th Street in both directions. Some water could be seen on the 1 train track at 66th Street .

However, some buildings in the affected streets appeared to have experienced minor flooding. A number of stores also experienced flooded due to the Water main break near Lincoln on upper west side.
