Digital Desk : The National Weather Service (NWS) predicted latest information on the Northeast Winter Storm with a focus on precipitation type and timing for New York City and Boston. NWS shared a twitter post related latest information on storm evolution and precipitation timing for #NYC and #Boston.

For New York City (NYC) : Rain or a mix of rain and snow ,through this afternoon (December 2, 2019) ,changing to all snow by evening. Temperature is forecast to fall to 32F by this evening with a low of 31F later tonight. 1-3 inches of snow before ending by early Tuesday .

For Boston : Rain changing to a mix of rain and snow later today and all snow after 8 pm this evening. Temperatures falling to the lower 30sF overnight. 3-5 inches of snow possible by Tuesday morning with additional accumulations possible before ending late Tuesday morning.
