Southern California Cities issues Curfews, George Floyd protests continues overnight
George Floyd : Southern California Curfews
Los Angeles , digital desk : Southern California’s big cities such as Los Angeles , Baverly Hills, West Hollywood, Culver City, Pasadena and Santa Monica has issues curfews until 5:30 a.m (Sunday) as wide-spread protests continues in response to death of George Floyd. All Metro, Bus and Rail has ended service until 5:30 a.m.
Southern California Curfews : Los Angeles
As LA protests surge rapidly, Mayor Eric Garcetti said on Twitter ” People in the City of Los Angeles are required to stay indoors tonight, starting 8 p.m until 5:30 a.m on Sunday morning ”
Currently, the curfew will apply to downtown Los Angeles between the 110 fwy on the west, Alameda on the east, and 10 fwy on the south, and 101 fwy on the north between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

The Curfew has been expanded to the entire city to keep Angelenos safe.

Baverly Hills
A curfew also took effect 8 pm until 5:30 a.m for the city of Baverly Hills.
Mayor Les Friedman said ” I’m asking everyone to stay at home.”
He added “Thousands of protestors merched through our city streets on Saturday to call attention the devastating circumstances surrounding the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd. While most of the protestors were peaceful and there were no injuries , there were multiple incidents of vandalism in the City. The safety of the Baverly Hills community remains our stop priority at all times”

West Hollywood
“The city of West Hollywood supports the right of people to peaceably assemble. Today’s protests across region have taken a turn and there is now a generalized risk to public safety” official statement .
A curfew has imposed in the city Saturday to Sunrise until further notice.

Culver City
The Culver City Bus services announced “Due to city to city wide curfews currently in effect for Los Angeles and Culver City all Culver CityBus service will be cancelled after 8 p.m (Saturday) . Normal service will resume tomorrow”

The Culver City declared local emergency until 530AM.

Pasadena stated that a curfew went into effect starting at 8 p.m Saturday until further notice.
