Thousands of armed pro-gun activists from across the United States of America rallied outside Virginia’s capital building on Monday to protest new restrictions proposed by state law makers. Security system in red-alert due to huge gun-rights rally in Virginia state . No incidents or arrests have been reported so far.
Actually, thousands of gun-rights advocates plan to descend on Richmond for ‘Lobby Day’ to oppose legislation that would restrict access to firearms in the state. The commonwealth is bracing for the potential of the extremist and white nationalist groups to disrupt to the peaceful demonstrations with violence and riots, and the Virginia’s Democratic Governor , Ralph Northam, declared a temporary state of emergency last week to ban open and concealed firearms and other weapons from the state capital grounds.

Thousands of Virginia’s Pro Gun-Rights activists walked through Richmond Streets armed with military style rifles on Monday morning and demonstrators across the country voice hard chants like “Northam Out’, ‘Guns Save Lives’, ‘Don’t Tread on our gun rights’ etc.

The Virginia Gun Rally is being organized by the Virginia’s Citizens Defense League (VCDL) , a well-known Second Amendment Advocacy organisation in the State. The group already said that it expected the Pro-Gun Rights protests to be peaceful.
The Richmond Police said there had been no arrests so far.
